ROC announces Bunny Hop Easter festival

Redemption Outreach Church is bringing springtime fun to the Russellville Parks and Rec Center with the return of Bunny Hop ROC.

Outreach Director and youth pastor Chris Payne said the even has, in the past, been primarily presented as an Easter egg hunt at Eastside park – with several thousand children attending last year – but this year’s event will have more of a festival atmosphere.

Children and families are invited to enjoy face painting games, prizes, hot dogs and drinks March 19 from 3-6 p.m. Children can register for a free Easter basket with two grand prize Easter baskets to be given away. The Easter Bunny will also be in attendance.

“Our heartbeat is outreach. We believe in getting outside the four walls, reaching the community and showing the love of Christ,” Payne said.

Redemption Outreach Church is affiliated with the Russellville Dream Center.

This will be a rain-or-shine event.
