Peggy Pickett Harris

Peggy Pickett Harris, age 78, passed away March 6.  She lived all her life in Franklin County and was a member of North Highlands Church of Christ.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Raleigh Harris; her parents, Calvin and Ruby Pickett; sisters, Judy Creamer, Betty Alsbrooks and Frances Grant; brothers, C.D. Pickett, Tommy Pickett, Bruce Pickett and William Pickett.

She is survived by her daughters, Suzanne Blum and husband Michael of Birmingham, and Joanna Lewis and husband Steve of Alexander City; grandchildren Alexandra, Catherine and Caroline Blum and Jordan Korte, Landon Korte and Adeline Lewis; sisters, Sarah Thompson of Russellville and Pat Waldrop of Fayetteville, Ga.; and several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service for the family was held March 11 at Knights of Pythias Cemetery.
