FCSO arrests teen for theft

A Russellville 17-year-old was arrested Saturday morning in connection with the burglary of a Franklin County residence, according to the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office.

Sheriff Shannon Oliver said the teenager is charged with theft of property, first degree; theft of property, second degree; burglary, third degree; and criminal mischief, third degree. He is accused of stealing guns, jewelry, money and prescription drugs from a residence on Duncan Creek Road near Russellville.

Investigators said the teen is accused of breaking into a residence last week on Duncan Creek Road, just outside of Russellville.
