J.C. Garrison

J.C. Garrison, age 85, Tuscumbia, passed away March 5 at his residence after an extended illness.

The visitation will be from 2-4 p.m. March 8 at Spry Memorial Chapel. The funeral will follow at 4 p.m. in the chapel. Officiating will be Bro. James McCullar. Burial will be at Hyde Cemetery.

He was preceded in death by his father, Homer Paul Garrison; mother, Callie Lee Garrison; and sons, Claude Raymond Garrison and Jerry Wayne Garrison.

He leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 70 years, Mary Etna Garrison; daughter, Barbara Higgins and husband Donny; daughter-in-law, Deborah Garrison, all of Tuscumbia; four grandsons, five granddaughters and 11 great-grandchildren; brothers, Auther (Buddy) Garrison and Paul Garrison; and several nieces and nephews.

The pallbearers will be Charles Michael, Richie Michael, James Brown, Kevin Brown, Reggie Michael and Nathan Mitchell.
