Charles Lemuel “Lem” Turner

Charles Lemuel “Lem” Turner, age 66, Russellville, (formerly of Canton, Ga.), passed away Feb. 24, 2016, at Helen Keller Hospital.
Family received friends at Darby Funeral Home in Canton, Ga., from 4-8 p.m. Feb. 27. A graveside memorial service was held at 3 p.m. Feb. 28 at The Orange United Methodist Cemetery. The Rev. Jimmy Andrews and Deacon Phil Collett officiated.
He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Judy Rouse Vaughan Turner; children, Audrey Turner, Michael Turner and wife Marie, James Turner and Steve Turner and wife Heather; step-children, Jennifer Matthews and Joey “Goob Vaughan; grandchildren, Turner and Grayson Griffin and Mason, Emma, Charlee, Christian, Carson, Jessica, Brady, Sybel, Jake and Lindsey Turner; step-grandchildren, Alyssa Anderson, Aiden Matthews and Shawn Vaughan; mother, Ocilla Turner; brother, Dwight Turner; sister, Rita Turner Lamb; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Dwight Turner; and step-son, Michael Vaughan.
