Jimmie Rogers Hester

Jimmie Rogers Hester, 85, passed away Thursday, Jan. 28, 2016 at Burns Nursing Home, Russellville.

Mr. Hester lived his whole life in Franklin County and was a member of Pleasant Ridge Missionary Baptist Church. He was an Army veteran, Private 1st Class, and was retired from Bellsouth after 38 years of service.

The family received friends Saturday, Jan. 30. Service was held in Pinkard Funeral Home Chapel with Kenneth Bond officiating. Burial followed in Knights of Pythais Cemetery.

Survivors include children; Alan Rogers Hester and wife, Janet Morris Hester, siblings; Brenda James and husband, Howard, Gene Hester and wife, Lois grandchildren; Jacob Andrew Hester, Luke Alan Hester, several nieces and nephews and one great niece and nephew.

He is preceded in death by, parents; Harvey and Selma Hester; wife; Willodene Hester and brother, Bobby Hester.
