Wilma Bostick Henson

Wilma Bostick Henson, 85, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 12, 2016 at her residence. She was born in Mississippi to Lawton Bostick and Selma Northington Bostick. She was a dental hygienist for twenty years and worked for Dean of Baylor Dental School in Texas, Team Dental Hygenist for Auburn University football team and in Corinth for ten years. She was a member of Jubilee Baptist Church, Daphne and enjoyed sewing, cooking and interior decorating.

Services were held Saturday, Jan. 16, at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, Red Bay with Bro. Nelson Hight and Bro. Roger Wood officiating. Burial was in Red Bay City Cemetery, Red Bay. Survivors are two children, Garry V. Henson, Iuka, Miss. and Venita Jo Linthicum, Daphne; seven grandchildren, Meg Javaronok, Beth Murray, Gail Henson, Katherine Henson, Holly Welborn, Lindsey Gannon and Taylor Seig; seven great-grandchildren and her caregivers, Garry Henson, Teresa Smith, Claudia Goss, Margaret Watson and Gentiva Hospice.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Bill H. Henson and her parents.

Visitation was Saturday, Jan. 16, at Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay.
