Dreams come true

Thursday was a banner day for three Russellville High School Golden Tiger athletes who, surrounded by coaches, family and friends, signed with their dream colleges in an afternoon ceremony at the Golden Tiger Field House.

RHS seniors Eli Hodges, Austin Kitterman and Reed Smith signed with the University of the North Alabama, Union University (Jackson, Tenn.) and Mississippi State University, respectively. Hodges will continue to play golf; Kitterman and Smith will continue in baseball.

Hodges was a part of last season’s state champion golf team; Kitterman and Smith contributed to the baseball state championship.
