The Book Lovers Study Club pulled together an international smorgasbord of treats to accompany their review of their review of “From the Outhouse to the World: A Global Tour of the Mind and Soul.” Author Jacqueline Segars Behrens had to cancel her scheduled visit because of illness, but Phyllis Shoemaker served as speaker to introduce the book to the club. Hostesses were Lelia Ray and Gayle McAlister. Pictured include (second from left) corresponding secretary Martha Sibley; (third from left) District 1 Secretary and Parliamentary Adviser Patricia Cox; and (sixth from left) Vice President Sheila Upchurch.
