Johnny Ray Woods

Johnny Ray Woods, 72, Leighton, passed away Sunday, Oct. 25, 2015, at his residence.

He was a native of Cullman, but had lived most of his life in Chicago.

Funeral service will be Wednesday, Oct. 28, 2015, 1 p.m. at Pinkard Funeral Home, Russellville with Gerald Borden officiating. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, at the funeral home from 11 a.m. until service time. Burial will be at Hopewell Cemetery in Leighton.

Survivors include wife, Emma Jean Woods; daughters, Cathy Woods, Sandra Roach; stepson, Kenneth Hallmark; sisters, Martha Durham, Mary Woods; six grandchildren; one great-grandchild; several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by parents, Leon and Marie Woods; sisters, Helen Barker, Connie Woods ; brother, Edgar Woods.
