Thomas Lee Rogers, Sr

Thomas Lee Rogers, Sr., 67, died Friday, Sept 18, 2015 at his residence. He was born in Franklin County to K.T. and Zella Mitchell Rogers. He was a carpenter for forty years.  He taught Building Construction at Vo-Tech at Belgreen High School for seventeen years. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving in Vietnam and a member of the American Legion.  He was a member of Atwood Baptist Church.
Services were Sunday, Sept 20, at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, Red Bay, with Bro. Jerry Edgil and Bro. Marty Guidry officiating. Burial was in Old Line Cemetery, Hodges.

Survivors are his wife, Glenda Rogers, Hodges, Al.; two children: Amanda Oliver and husband Tim of Hodges,and T.J. Rogers, Booneville, Ms.; five grandchildren: Austin Oliver, Allison Oliver, Jessie Oliver, ShelbyAnna Oliver and Carley Tedford; two sisters: Agnes McKinney, Red Bay, and Carolyn Medley and husband Roy of  Russellville, and a host of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Jimmy Carlton Rogers and one sister, Margaret Sanders.
Pallbearers werehis nephews.
Visitation was Saturday, Sept 19, at Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, and Sunday, Sept 20.
