September is National Library Card Month, and Russellville Public Library stands ready to welcome new patrons.
“We do a big push to try to get people to come in who do not have a library card,” Cummins said. “We’re your information center … Not only do we have great books, but we have computers for the public, audiobooks, DVDs, CDs.”
Also falling conveniently with National Library Card Month is an international campaign called Outside the Lines. Library staff will be getting out of the library and into local events, embracing community “to talk to people and get them interested in possibly coming to the library,” Cummins said.
