Shirley Sumerel, age 95 of Harvest, passed away on June 27, 2015 at her residence. Visitation will be Wednesday July 1, 2015, 1:30 p.m. until 2:30 p.m. at the Hodges Church of Christ with a 2:30 p.m. funeral to follow. Interment will be at Mt. Olive Cemetery. Bro. Steve Gober, Bro. Paul Swindle, and Bro. Derrick Sumerel will be officiating.
Mrs. Sumerel was preceded in death by her husband, Tommie J. Sumerel, and a son, Doyal Milton Sumerel.
She is survived by her daughter, Tommie L. Vaughn, 4 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren.
