Randy Batey, age 69, Russellville, passed away on Sunday, June 22, 2015 at Select Specialty Hospital in Birmingham.

The visitation will be 6:00–8:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 24, 2015 at Spry Memorial Chapel.  The funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, June 25, 2015 at Spry Memorial Chapel.  Officiating will be Bro. Greg Beasley.  Burial will follow at Mars Hill Cemetery.

He is survived by his wife, Debra Batey; children, Randall Batey, Khris & Timothy Johns, Channell & Roger Fry, Michelle & Bobby Allred, Nicole & Blake Fuller; 9 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; siblings, Troy Batey, Bernice Medley, Martha Ayers, Teresa Robertson; and a host of nieces & nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Eunice & Mattie Dot Batey; brothers, Lonnie Batey and Ronnie Batey.
