Distinguished Young Woman program gears up for 2015

The 2016 Distinguished Young Woman Scholarship Program will be held Saturday, August 8, 2015 at Norton Auditorium on the campus of The University of North Alabama.

Young ladies entering their senior year will have the opportunity to compete for cash scholarships as well as many other scholarships to colleges and universities.  Each county winner will have the opportunity to represent her county at the state program in Montgomery, Ala.

Young ladies entering grades 10 and 11 have the opportunity to be “DYW Little Sisters.”  Interest and information meetings are set for May 6 and 13 at the First Metro Bank Annex building in Muscle Shoals, Ala. at 4 p.m.  For more information contact Susan Hargett at 256-710-9239 or email her at dshargett@aol.com.  You may also apply online at www.Distinguishedyw.org.
