Summer T.R.A.C.K.S. program offers fun, safe learning experiences

Participants in the T.R.A.C.K.S. program have opportunities to do various activities during the summer including swimming.

The Franklin County Community Education is gearing up for an exciting summer for students. There will be field trips, various enrichment activities, STEM and Robotics activities, themed camps, and much more, according to officials.

The program begins on Tuesday, May 26, and runs through Friday, July 24. T.R.A.C.K.S. opens at 6:30 a.m. and closes at 5:30 p.m. each day. Students may be brought or picked up at their parent’s convenience during those hours. Breakfast, lunch and a snack are provided each day.

For those coming from the Russellville area there will be buses that will pick students up at different places in Russellville and transport them to either Belgreen or Tharptown .

Registration forms may be obtained at any T.R.A.C.K.S. site, at the Community Education office, at the Board of Education office, or on the Franklin County Board of Education website (www.franklin.k12.al.us)
