Bridge scheduled for repair March 16; closed to traffic

A bridge rehab project scheduled to begin next Monday will last approximately one week, according to officials.

The bridge located on County Rd. 44 will affect traffic between AL 24 and AL 243. County Rd. 44 intersects the two state highways east of the Russellville Municipal Airport.

David Palmer of the Franklin County Highway Department said the rehabilitation work should last about a week.
