Billie Jean Suddith, age 80, of Jasper, passed away on Sunday, Feb. 15, 2015, at Walker Baptist Medical Center.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, Feb. 18, 2015.

Mrs. Suddith was preceded in death by her parents, Alma and Earl Richardson; brother, Hillard Richardson; daughter, Rene Bates; and brother-in-law, Eugene Carver.

She is survived by her sons, Alan Bates and wife, Willy, and Greg Bates and wife, Andrea,; sisters, Earlene Carver and Geneva Reed; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
