Carole Jean Newbern, 78, Corinth, Miss., passed away Feb. 18, 2015 at Magnolia Regional Health Center.

She was born Dec. 22, 1936. She was a homemaker and a Baptist by faith.

She is survived by husband of 58 years, Jerry Newbern of Corinth, Miss.; daughters, Stephanie Berryman and husband, Shawn, of Fruitland Park, Fla., and Vivian Blackwell and husband, Craig of Carmel, Ind.; four grandchildren, Michael Berryman, Erin Berryman, Craig Blackwell and Cody Blackwell; other relatives and a host of friends.

She was preceded in death by parents, Carnie Lowery and Beatrice Shelton Lowery.

Visitation was Friday, Feb. 20, 2015 and Saturday, Feb. 21, 2015 at Magnolia Funeral Home. Service was Saturday, Feb. 21, 2015 at Magnolia Funeral Home with Br. Mike Green officiating.
