Local artist’s work to be performed

The Bay Tree Council in Red Bay, Ala. announced it’s second production of the 2014-2015 season, The Wisteria Hysteria, by Daphne Murrell of Red Bay, Ala. Daphne has written several full-length novels and other works, with this being her first published play. The play will be performed at Community Spirit Bank’s Weatherford Centre in Red Bay, Ala. Feb. 12-14, at 7 p.m. and Sunday Feb. 15 at 2 p.m. Tickets will go on sale Monday Feb. 2 at the Weatherford Centre in Red Bay. You may call 256-356-9829 between the hours of 2-4 p.m. each weekday or go by the Centre during those hours to purchase your tickets.  A dinner will be provided for this production, but tickets for the dinner must be purchased in advance.  Play tickets are $8 each and the dinner ticket is $17.  If you need additional information about groups contact Beth Hammock at 256-356-9286 for this production and also for the next production, Father of the Bride, which will be presented April 23-26, 2015.
