Clyde E. Corble, 82, died Wednesday, Jan. 14, 2015 at his residence. He was born in Alabama and was owner and operator of Clyde Corble Furniture Co. for over 25 years and in the furniture business for over 40 years. He was a member of Russellville Church of God and served both on the RedBay and Russellville Church of God Council. He formerly served on the Red Bay City Council, Red Bay Hospital Board and was a former member of the Red Bay Lions Club. He had served in the National Guard.

Services were Saturday, Jan. 17, at Cornerstone Church of God, Red Bay, with Bro. Greg Corble, Bro. Emmanuel Jackson and Bro. Nick McSpadden officiating. Burial was in Knights of Pythias Cemetery, Russellville.

Survivors are his wife of 65 years,  Mildred Corble, Red Bay; four children, Judy Moses and husband, Wayne, and Debra Wood and husband, Alan, all of Red Bay,  Missy Darracott and husband, Ray, Russellville, and Greg Corble and wife, Bridgett, Tuscumbia; eleven grandchildren, Carla Childers and husband, Joey, Chad Moses and wife, Allison, Cayla Hardin and husband, Nash, Jennifer Smith and husband, Matt, Brooke Parker and husband, Tyler, Steven Wood, Katie Darracott, Matt Darracott, Carly Corble, Caden Corble and Cyler Corble; seven great-grandchildren, Britley Hardin, Addie Hardin, Jackson Smith, Madilyn Smith, McKynli Childers, Annslie Moses and Riley Beth Parker; and one sister, Peggy McGuire and husband, Ollie,  Russellville.

He was preceded in death by a son, Larry Corble; grandson, Shane Corble; great-granddaughter, Emmie Moses, parents, Grady Corble and Linnie King Corble, two brothers, Roy and Johnny Corble and two sisters, Barbara Corble and Margarette Powell.

Pallbearers were Chad Moses, Steven Wood, Matt Darracott, Matt Smith, Tyler Parker, Joey Childers and Nash Hardin.  Honorary pallbearers will be Cyler Corble and Caden Corble.

Visitation was Friday, Jan. 16, at Cornerstone Church of God.
