Revell K. Smith, 85, of York Township, Ohio, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 15, 2014.

He was born on April 28, 1929 in Russellville, to the late Lester and Susie Smith. Revell has resided in MedinaCounty since 1970.

Revell had worked as a forger at ALCO Aluminum, Cleveland, Ohio, from 1949 – 1983.  He hauled lumber for Cashway Lumber, Medina, Ohio, from 1968-1974.

Revell enjoyed fishing, hunting and gardening.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Lois, married 60 years; son, Keith Smith and wife, Lori, of Litchfield; grandchildren Brian Smith and Kellie Smith – Dash; great grandchildren Michael, Brittnie and Makenzie; and sister, Doris Seal.

He is preceded in death by a sister, Emily and two brothers, Wayne and Wyman.

The funeral service was Saturday, Oct. 18, 2014, at the Bauer Funeral Home 2089 Columbia Road Valley City, Ohio.

Calling hours were Friday, Oct. 17, 2014 at the funeral home.

Interment was at YorkTownshipCemetery, Mallet Creek, Ohio.
