Jean H. Long, 85 died Sept. 26, 2014, at Southern Magnolia in Golden, Miss.  She was born in Red Bay and was a homemaker.  She was a member of FirstBaptistChurch in RedBay.

A private family service was held with Bro. Roger Wood officiating.  Burial was in HillcrestMemorialGardens, RedBay.

Survivors include two daughters, Deborah Butler and husband, Steve, of Muscle Shoals and Leigh Ann Cochran and husband, Jeff, of Dacula, Ga.; one son, Hoyt Long of Red Bay; five grandchildren, Scott Butler and wife, Jennifer, Amy Beth White and husband, Dale, Brandon Long and wife, Herlinda, Mindy Luna and husband, Paul, and Aleah Miller and husband, Jordan; four great grandchildren, Jackson Butler, Parker Butler, Allie Beth White and Victoria Long; one sister, Tula Mae Pearson; and one brother, Harold Hutcheson.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Herman H. Long; her parents, Austin and Bertha Hutcheson; and two sisters, Vernell Carr and Beulah Hester.
