Olen Delano McGuire, 80, of Phil Campbell, passed away Thursday, July 3, 2014, at Russellville Hospital.

Mr. McGuire was a native of Franklin County.

He was a retired locksmith, a former board member of the Phil Campbell Housing Authority and a veteran of the U.S. Air Force.

The funeral service was Sunday, July 6, 2014, at Pinkard Funeral Home Chapel, Russellville, with Tony Williams officiating. Burial followed at Union Hill Cemetery, Phil Campbell.

The family received friends at the funeral home on Sunday prior to the service.

Survivors include son, Jerry Lee McGuire, Colorado; sister, Christine Steele, Phil Campbell; two nieces; three great-nieces; three great-great nieces; and one great-great nephew.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Floyd and Helen Thrasher McGuire.
