Library’s summer program up and running
Children in the Russellville Public Library’s Summer Reading Program enjoyed a morning of fun as the program kicked off on June 19. Shirley Jiminez painted faces at the event and Spiderman even showed up for an appearance.
This coming Thursday, librarian Ashley Cummins has a Skype interview scheduled with Marissa Meyer, a young adult novelist. The program starts at 10:30 a.m. at the public library on Lawrence Street.
Any parent interested in their child participating in the Russellville Public Library’s Summer Reading Program is encouraged to stop by the library at 110 East Lawrence Street or call Ashley Cummins at 256-332-1535.
