Veronica McKenzie Dummar, 63, of Phil Campbell, passed away Wednesday, June 11, 2014, at ECM Hospital.

Mrs. Dummar was a native of Dundee, Scotland, but had lived in this area for the past 18 years.  She was a local restaurant owner.

The funeral service will be Monday, June 16, 2014, at 2:00 p.m., at Mountain View Baptist Church, Phil Campbell, with burial in the adjoining cemetery.  The body will be placed in the church one hour before the service.  Officiating will be Bro. Sammy Taylor.  The family will receive friends at Pinkard Funeral Home, Russellville, on Sunday, June 15, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.

Survivors include husband, Fred Dummar; daughter, Heidi Blessing; son, Adam Matthew Dummar and wife, Angela; grandchildren, Kyle Holmberg, Melody Dummar, Katelynn Dummar and Marc Anthony Dummar.

She was preceded in death by parents, David and Hildegard McKenzie; and son, Mark David McKenzie Dummar.
