William David “Whiskers” Bragwell, 70, Russellville, Alabama, passed away Monday, November 11, 2013, at Helen Keller Hospital.
He lived all of his life in Franklin County and was a member of Frankfort Missionary Baptist Church. He was a self-employed truck driver and member of the Belgreen Masonic Lodge #428.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, November 13, 2013, at 11 a.m. at Pinkard Funeral Home in Russellville with burial in Franklin Memory Gardens. Masonic rites will be held at the graveside. The family received friends on Tuesday from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
Survivors include his wife, Brenda Bragwell; children, Ken Bragwell and Tracy Montgomery and husband, Dan; sister, Carolyn Smelser and husband, Ray; brothers, Royce Bragwell and wife, Janet, Steve Bragwell and wife, Pat, Wallace Bragwell and wife, Barbara, Harold Bragwell and wife, Janice, and Curtis Bragwell; four grandchildren, Cody and Will Bragwell; and Jake and Dylan Montgomery; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Dolph and Pearl Bragwell; and a grandson, Jesse Bragwell.
