Rex Houston Hudson, 70, died Friday, Sept. 20, 2013, at ECM Hospital.

He was born Feb. 15, 1943, in Alabama and was an auto mechanic for 40 years. He was a Baptist.

Services were Tuesday, Sept. 23, 2013, at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, Red Bay, with Bro. James Nichols officiating. Burial was in Old Line Cemetery, Hodges.

Survivors are two sons, Joe Hudson and wife, Patricia, Chicago, Ill., and Anthony Hudson, Hodges; one daughter, Elizabeth Hudson, Chicago, Ill.; four grandchildren, Victoria Viglietta, Joey Viglietta, Anthony Viglietta and Josh Viglietta; two great-grandchildren, MaKayla Mae Smith and Nevaeh Lynn Smith; one brother, Ray Hudson, Hackleburg; two sisters, Kathy Jane Pinkelton, Memphis, Tenn., and Debra Hugh, Tuscaloosa; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers were Anthony Viglietta, Joshua Viglietta, Joesph Viglietta, Cody Baker, Josh Lawler and Paul Payne.
