Charles R. Vernon, 77, Russellville, passed away Sunday, March 17, 2013, at Burns Nursing Home.

Burial was in Knights of Pythias Cemetery on Tuesday, March 19, 2013.

He is survived by his children, Thomas Vernon, Debra Lewis, Mary Lewis, Randy Vernon and wife, Tina; several grandchildren; sisters, Sarah Ballard, Cordova, Calif., Nenie McCoy, Lexington, Ky.; host of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by wife, Geraldine Mansell Vernon; parents, Robert and Ethel Vernon; three sons, Charles Vernon, Jr., Douglas Vernon, Michael Vernon; daughter, Cynthie Lewis.
