Virginia Nadine Whittemore James, 83, died Tuesday, Nov. 27, 2012, at Red Bay Hospital.

She was born Aug. 17, 1929, in West Frankfort, Ill., and was a salesperson for Sears for 15 years.

A memorial service was Thursday, Nov. 29, 2012, at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, Red Bay, with Bro. Buster Timmons officiating.

Survivors are three children, Ronald James, Red Bay, William “Bill” James, Golden, Miss., and Debra Lambert and husband, Bill, LaVergne, Tenn.; four grandchildren, Ronald James, Blake James, Jessica James Sides and husband, Brett, and Keifer Morgan and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Carl Whittemore and Florence Carrick Whittemore, two grandchildren and four brothers.
