Cleaning the park

Members of the Russellville American Legion Post 64 recently painted the 90mm cannon at Veterans Park in downtown Russellville.
The group had a celebration there on Flag Day, which coincided with the birthday of the United States Army. The 55-member local American Legion Post also has been working to send several county high school students to boys state and girls state activities at Troy University and the University of Alabama.
