Evelyn Shadrach Rogers, 81, died Thursday, July 5, 2012.

She was born July 30, 1930, to Lucille Connelly Shadrach and James Thomas Shadrach. She was a homemaker and attended Fairview Holy Church of Christ, Belmont, Miss. She enjoyed being with her family and yard sales.

Services were Sunday, July 8, 2012, at Fairview Holy Church of Christ with Bro. Kevin Rogers and Bro. Wayne Bumgart officiating. Burial was in Joel Cemetery, Dennis, Miss.

Survivors are four daughters, Marsha Keeton and husband, Gary, and Gail Johnson and husband, Jack, both of Ryan’s Well community, Trudy Brumley, Fairview, Miss., and Linda Higginbottom and husband, Ray, of Fulton, Miss.; two sons, Tom Rogers and wife, Mary, and Kevin Rogers and wife, Shelia, both of Dennis, Miss.; fourteen grandchildren Kim Carpenter and husband, Gary, Damion Keeton and wife, Judy, Chase Higginbottom and wife, Morgan, Seth Higginbottom, Melissa Rogers and husband, Craig, Jack Johnson II and wife, Trisha, Riesa Johnson and fiance’, DW, Andy Mathieu and wife, Alicia, Jessica Ross and husband, DJ, Rhiannon Morales and husband, Miguel, Mackenzie Rogers, Kade Rogers and fiiance’, Andrea, Brody Rogers and wife, Laken, and Barry Rogers; twenty-three great-grandchildren, Samantha Burroughs and husband, Waylon, Zack and Austin Carpenter, Ashelyn, Avery and Cayson Keeton, Chandler Higginbottom, Noah and Rylan Higginbottom, Brittany and Trey Johnson, Isabel Hammock, Elijah Rogers, Nick and Dillon Mathieu, Katelynn Skelton, Cameron, Sheridan and John Ross, Erick, Katie and Emily Morales and Mattlie Rogers; two great-great-grandchildren – Luke and EllaTutor; three sisters-in-law, Juanita Shadrach, Mary Madison and Elaine Rogers and one niece, Peggy Underwood.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lamar Rogers, her parents, two brothers, Cecil and Fred Shadrack, and a son-in-law, Benny Smalley.

Pallbearers were Damion Keeton, Jack Johnson II, Andy Mathieu, Mackenzie Rogers, Kade Rogers, Brody Rogers and Barry Rogers. Honorary pallbearers were Gary Carpenter, Craig Rogers, DJ Ross, Miguel Morales, DW Blackwell, Seth Higginbottom and Chase Higginbottom.
