Stolen vehicle recovered

The Russellville Police Department received a call at 8 a.m. Tuesday that a vehicle had been stolen from a residence on Cleveland Avenue.
Police Chief Chris Hargett said officers responded to the scene and filled out a police report, but couldn’t find any evidence pointing to a suspect.
Hargett said at 9:30 a.m., the victim called the department and said he had located his car at an abandoned house on Highway 724 in Newburg.
The car was released to the owner after being dusted for fingerprints.
