Jean Marie Hardin, 71, died Tuesday, May 15, 2012, at Helen Keller Hospital.

She was a native of Hodges and was a seamstress at Blue Bell for more than 25 years. She was a member of Pilot Hill Baptist Church, Vina.

Services were Thursday, May 17, 2012, at Burnout Missionary Baptist Church, Vina, with Bro. Dan Hindman, Bro. A.H. Akins and Bro. Arthur Hardin officiating. Burial was  in Burnout Cemetery.

Survivors are her husband of 56 years, Archie T. Hardin; three children, Alice Pitts and husband, Tony, Joe Hardin and wife, Laura, and Rita Parrish and husband ,David; five grandchildren, Shane Clack and wife, Tawana, Stuart Clack and wife, Crystal, JoAnna Pennington and husband, Sam, Joshua Parrish and David Pitts and wife, Chassidy, and 10 great-grandchildren, Kristin Clack, Joseph Clack, D.J. Pitts, Robert Pitts, Jadon Douglas, Savina Douglas, Christina Hunn, Abby Hunn, Daisy Stidham and Beau Stidham.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Ella Mae Chamblee; two brothers, Ronnie Chamblee and Stan Chamblee; nephew, Wesley Williford, niece, Karen Ozbirn, son-in-law, Joe Clack, daughter-in-law, Gina Hardin, father and mother-in-law, Taft and Eunice Hardin, brother-in-law, Steven Ozbirn and three sisters-in-law, Pam Hardin, Beulah Thornton and Sharon Ball.

Pallbearers were Shane Clack, Stuart Clack, David Pitts, Joshua Parrish, Sam Pennington, Anthony Hardin, Mark Hardin and Wendell Williford. Honorary pallbearers were Joseph Clack, D.J. Pitts and Robert Pitts.
