Fundraiser to benefit EFJHS student

East Franklin Junior High School will sponsor a benefit event to raise money for one of their students who was tragically injured in a motorcycle wreck at the beginning of December.
EFJS will hold an auction, bake sale and bean supper starting at 4 p.m. on Saturday at the school with proceeds benefiting EFJS ninth grader Blake Whitten who had to have his right leg amputated below the knee after sustaining severe injuries from a motorcycle wreck on Dec. 1.
Any money raised will help the family with various medical expenses they have faced since that time.
Everyone is encouraged to support this worthy cause.
