Funeral Services for Larry D. Lane, 63, of Kirtland, Ohio, will be 11 a.m., Wednesday, Feb. 15, at the Jakubs & Son Funeral Home 936 E. 185th Street, Cleveland.  Larry was a State Farm Insurance Agent for 40 years and was highly recognized throughout the insurance industry.

Born on July 6, 1948, in Russellville.

He passed away on Feb. 11, 2012, at his residence.

Larry was a devoted husband and father.  He is survived by his beloved wife Cheryl; loving sons Mitchell and wife, Michele, and Brent; dear mother, Marjorie Lane; sister Deborah Crowe and husband, Tony; mother-in-law, Molly Pasquale; brother-in-law Mat Pasquale and wife, Peggy;  several nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his father, Willard Lane, and his father-in-law Mathew Pasquale.

Larry is a proud Eagle Scout, Freemason, and was an award winning trumpet player during his younger years.  He was very meticulous and patient with everything he did.  Larry enjoyed family time, keeping things nice and neat, and being our “go-to” guy.  His hobbies included working on home projects, learning new computer technology and car shopping.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions in Larry’s memory be made to Senior Independence Hospice, 38721 Mentor Ave., Willoughby, Ohio 44094.
