Stan DeFrenchi, 70, died Saturday, Dec. 17, 2011, at Red Bay Hospital. He was a native of San Jose, Calif., a mechanic for 34 years and served in the U.S. Army.

Memorial services were Thursday, Dec. 22, 2011, at First Baptist Church, Red Bay, with Bro. Mickey Trammel and Bro. Larry Hill officiating.

He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Diann DeFrenchi, Red Bay; six children, Curtis DeFrenchi, Tracey DeFrenchi and Lisa DeFrenchi, all of Arizona, Larry Howard, Tremont, Miss., DeAnnette Sharp and her husband, Doug, and Nichole DeFrenchi Farr and her husband, D.J., all of Red Bay; 11 brothers and sisters; 22 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his mother-in-law, Carol Bartlett.
