Nellie Mae Massey, 71, Russellville, passed away Friday, Dec. 23, 2011, at her residence.

Mrs. Massey lived most of her life in Franklin County and was a member of Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church, Vina.

Funeral services were Tuesday, Dec. 27, 2011, at Pinkard Funeral Home, Russellville, with Bro. Eugene Digby and Bro. Mike Smith officiating. Burial was in Bethlehem Cemetery.

Survivors include children, Frances Moore, Tuscumbia, Janie Forester, Tuscumbia, Elizabeth Rodriquez, Madison, Tina Isbell, Muscle Shoals, Jay Musgrove, Russellville, Daniel Guthrie, Sarasota, Fla.; sisters, Betty Patterson, Tuscumbia, Mary Ann Adams, Elkmont, Louise Medlin, Olive Branch, Miss.; grandchildren, John Isbell, Colby Forester, Billy Moore, Jr., David Wilson Chase Guthrie, Jessica Baker, Robby Rodriquez; great-grandchildren, Elora Isbell, Eli Baker, Ryan Moore, Dena Wilson, Jordon Wilson, Trenton Wilson, Brieana Wilson, Emily Wilson, Riley Wilson; several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers were Colby Forester, John Isbell, Robby Rodriquez, Tyler Baker, Billy Moore, Jr. and Brian Woods.

She was preceded in death by husband, Burnell Massey; grandsons, Jerry Ray Adkins, Jr., Brian Isbell; parents, Richard Lang and Etta Abbott.
