Jimmy Ray Winsted, 72, of Haleyville, passed away on Tuesday, September 6, 2011 at Eliza Coffee Memorial Hospital.

Funeral services were held Friday, September 9, 2011 at Spry Memorial Chapel with Bro. Paul Holloway, Jr. officiating.  The burial was at Crooked Oak Cemetery.

He is survived by his daughters, Teresa Yeager, of Birmingham, Cindy Brown and husband, Bobby, of Haleyville, Candie Hart and husband, Clint, of Waterloo, Jamie Green and husband, Jerrmie, of Bear Creek; son, Anthony Sparks Winsted and wife, Alana, of Bear Creek; 13 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; brother, W.J. Winsted and wife, Frauline, of Tuscumbia; and a host of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Green and Lilly Winsted; sister, Betty Patton; and nephew, Tony Winsted.
