Ted Green, 63, a resident of Belgreen, passed away Monday morning, Sept. 5, 2011 after a brief battle with cancer.
Ted was a Vietnam veteran and was a Russellville postal worker for 34 years.  He was a member of Gravel Hill Church of Christ.
He is survived by his wife, Janice Everett Green, of Belgreen; children, Jason Green and wife, Kristy, of Prattville, Emily Parker and husband, Chris, of Loretto, Tenn.; grandchildren, Clay and Calli Green; siblings, Horace Green, of Russellville, Mary Woodruff and husband, Granville, of Hartselle, Billy Green, Jo Ann Williams, Terry Green and wife, Margaret, all of Russellville; numerous nieces and nephews.
Ted is preceded in death by his parents, Jessie Earl and Mary Lorene Hargett Green; siblings, Homer Lee Green, Charles Ralph Green, Betty Marie Green, Earl Milton Green, Jessie Coleman Green.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, Sept. 6, 2011 at Pinkard Funeral Home, Russellville, with Johnny Richardson, Jack Henson and Jason Green officiating.  Burial was in the Crestview Baptist Church Cemetery.   
Pallbearers were Chris Parker, Milton Green, Russell Woodruff, Randy Freemon, Stan Riley, Jerry Hulsey and Randall Shelton.
