Mae H. Bonner, 99, of Friendsville, Tenn., formerly of Phil Campbell, passed away on Saturday, September 3, 2011 at her daughter’s residence.
Mrs. Bonner was the owner of Phil Campbell Hardware store, a member of the Phil Campbell Methodist Church and also the Phil Campbell Eastern Star. She loved Phil Campbell and Franklin County.
The visitation will be 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 7, 2011 at Spry Memorial Chapel. The funeral will follow at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 7, 2011 at Spry Memorial Chapel. Officiating at the service will be Bro. Sammy Taylor. Burial will be in Phil Campbell City Cemetery.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William M. Bonner; parents, Russell and Novella Haygood; brother, R.C. Haygood; and sister, Maudie Rikard.
She is survived by her daughter, Willie Mae Mantooth and husband, Ron, of Friendsville, Tenn.; son, William S. Bonner, of Jacksonville, Fla.; grandchildren, Greg Oden, of Kenner, La., Brian Mantooth and wife, Margoth, of Valleystream, N.Y., Martin Bonner and wife, Tonya, of Austin, Texas, Jodi Bonner, of Jacksonsville, Fla.; great-grandchildren, Michelle Mantooth, Rhys Bonner; and several nieces and nephews.
