Owen Davis Shifflett, 79, of Huntsville, Ala. passed away on Tuesday, August 2, 2011 at Huntsville Hospital.
He was a retired veteran from the U.S. Army.
Burial was Wednesday, August 3, 2011 at Williams Cemetery, Hodges with military honors.
He is survived by his wife, Pat Shifflett; sons, Thomas Shifflett and Lionel Shifflett; and a host of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Bertie Shifflett; seven brothers and sisters.
