James Fay Boyd, 87 Russellville, died Saturday, July 16, 2011.

Graveside services were held Tuesday, July 19, 2011 at Knights of Pythias Cemetery with Clint Busler officiating.  Pinkard Funeral Home, Russellville assisted the family. 

He was preceded in death by wife, June Hyde Boyd; parents, Charlie Nelson Boyd and May Overton Boyd; brothers, Grady Boyd, Kelsey Boyd, Ralph Boyd and Carl Boyd; sisters, Alta Boyd Jackson, Kate Boyd Lindsey, Marie Boyd Bray, Daisy Boyd Campbell, and Betty Jean Boyd.

He is survived by daughters, Judy Boyd Mills and husband, John, Connie Boyd Elmore and husband, Glen, and Jeanne Boyd Hester and husband, Don; six grandchildren, Russ Elmore, Mandee Elmore Davis and husband, Billy, Ellie Hester, Laura Mills, Kerry Hester and wife, Keri and Katie Elmore Kennedy and husband, Samuel; two great-grandchildren, Dakota Hughes and Carter Davis.

Pallbearers were Russ Elmore, Kerry Hester, Dakota Hughes, Billy Davis, Samuel Kennedy, Joe Boyd, and honorary pallbearer, Carter Davis.

He was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Russellville and a veteran of World War II.
