Zachary Alan “Zach” Parrish, 26, of Vina, Ala. died Tuesday, June 28, 2011 in Vina, Ala.  He was born in Red Bay, Ala. and was a customer associate for Wal-Mart.  He was a member of Vina Baptist Church.

Funeral services were held Friday, July 1, 2011 at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, Red Bay, Ala. with Bro. Steve Lindsay officiating. Burial was in Holly Springs Cemetery, Hodges, Ala.

He is survived by his wife, Tami Parrish, of Vina, Ala.; three step-children, Patrick White and wife, Lisa, of Red Bay, Casadie Massey and Chasadie Massey, both of Vina; mother, Susan Parrish; grandmothers, Earnestine Parrish, of Red Bay, and Elizabeth Rickard, of Russellville; brother, Michael Timms, of Florence, Ala.; niece, Skylar Timms; nephew, Evan Timms; aunts, Beth Nichols and husband, Trevor and Sandra Pratt, all of Red Bay; uncles, David Parrish and wife, Rita, of Red Bay and Dean Rickard and wife, Beth, of Rogersville, Ala.

He was preceded in death by his father, Greg Parrish and his grandfather, Gillie Parrish.

Pallbearers were Chase Pharr, John Pharr, Erik Mann, Joshua Parrish, Jason Mitchell, Michael Timms, T.J. Rogers, Bradley Long, Brandon Long and Brandon Blunt.
