Danny Clifton Hovater, 61, of Killen, formerly of Russellville, passed away Monday, July 4, 2011.
The visitation will be from 12 to 2 p.m. Thursday, July 7, 2011, at Akins Funeral Home prior to the 2 p.m. funeral service in the chapel with Bro. James McCullar officiating. Interment will be in Knights of Pythias Cemetery.
He is preceded in death by his daughter, Stephanie Heather May and father, Clifton Hovater.
He is survived by his fiancé, Regina Watson; daughters, Penelope Austin and her husband, Eddie, Lekita Rice and her husband, Eric; mother, Mary Ruth Hovater; sister, Connie Johnson and her husband, Danny; grandchildren, Daniel Wilkinson, Teashea Wilkinson, Zach Wilkinson, Stephen May and Scott May.
Danny loved flowers, NASCAR, his family, wood working and his dog Charger.
