Carrie Byrd Waldrep, 78, of Leighton, Ala. passed away on Sunday, June 26, 2011.                                    

A private graveside service was held Tuesday, June 28, 2011 at Tharptown Cemetery with Bro. Phillip Potter officiating.  Akins Funeral Home assisted the family.

Pallbearers were Robert Brown, Josh Tidwell, Roy Tidwell, Bob Childers, James Ayers, Cade Saint, and James Bryant.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, J.R. Byrd and Ray Waldrep; parents, Banks and Pearl Brown Logan; brother, O.C. Logan.

She leaves to cherish her memory, children, Vicky Brown and husband, Everett, Linda Saint and husband, Jerry, and Jeff Byrd; four grandchildren, Cade Saint, Gina Wilks, Loni Bryant, and Shasta Saint; two great-grandchildren, Alison Bryant and Mathew Bryant; one nephew, Ronnie Logan; sister-in-law, Dot Logan.
