James H. Patterson, 38, of Phil Campbell, Ala. passed away Wednesday, June 22, 2011.

Visitation will be Saturday, June 25, 2011 from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m., at Akins Funeral Home, prior to the 2 p.m. funeral at the funeral home chapel with Bro. Ricky Gardner officiating.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Linda Mae Patterson; infant sister, Elisa Joy Patterson; grandparents, Hanley and Georgia Scribner.

He is survived by wife, Emily Pollard Patterson; children, Jason Harvey-Lee Patterson, Natalie Joy Elise Patterson; siblings, Lloyd Patterson and wife, Rose, Georgia Ann Patterson, Joel Patterson; nieces, Lexie Patterson Hamm and Elizabeth Patterson; nephew, Josh Patterson; best friend and cousin, Tim Heath and wife Trixie, and their children, Richard and Katherine; father and mother-in-law, Johnny and Judy Pollard; brother-in-law, Derrick Pollard and wife, Beth, and their daughter, Addie.

In lieu of flowers make donations to Franklin County Tornado Relief Fund.
