Vina travels to Hubbard

VINA — The Vina football team has put together dramatic wins in the past two weeks, but the Red Devils are hoping there is a little magic left when they visit R.A. Hubbard Friday night.

Vina has found a good rhythm on offense and its defense has put in some of its best performances of the year in recent weeks, but it will be tough to knock off the Chiefs.

The Red Devils are scoring an average of 17 points per game and allowing an average of 26.6 points per game.

The Chiefs have not had the stoutest of defenses, allowing opponents to score and average of 21.6 points per game. It has held four of its opponents to 14 points or less, including one shutout.

Hubbard has a good offense and speedy players that has allowed the Chiefs to score 29.4 points per game.
