Lions are GSC pick

BIRMINGHAM — The University of North Alabama Lions have been picked to repeat as GSC champs in 2010 in a preseason poll of league head coaches.

UNA received eight of the 11 possible first-place votes and 97 overall points in the voting.

West Alabama was picked second, followed by Valdosta State, Delta State and Arkansas Tech.

Ouachita Baptist is sixth, followed by Henderson State, Arkansas-Monticello,  Southern Arkansas, Harding and West Georgia.
