Mae Crow Lawler, 90, of Russellville, passed away on Wednesday, July 21, 2010 at her residence.

Funeral services were held Friday, July 23, 2010 at Spry Memorial Chapel with Bro. Wendell Watts officiating.  Interment was at Franklin Memory Gardens.

She was born in Lawrence County to Travis and Emmie Sapp Crow on January 31, 1920.  Later moving to Birmingham, Ala. and she worked for Loveman’s & Pizitz.  She met her husband, HF Lawler there and married June 21, 1952.  She moved to Russellville in 1964 and has lived here for 46 years.

God was always first in her life, then family and home.  She loved to sew, cook, read, and travel with her husband.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Ford Lawler; parents Travis and Emmie Sapp Crow; three sisters; and five brothers.

She is survived by her daughters, Amanda Jane Murray and husband, Joe, Martha Jean Kimbrough and husband, Aubrey; one granddaughter, Jade Kimbrough Bragwell and husband, Kelly; sister, Estell Crow Byars; several nieces and nephews.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to all her loyal sitters and Hospice of the Shoals for all your care and kindness.
